When an evil tech genius tries to plan to save the Earth
from eliminating the population, a agent trains a troublemaker into a spy.
“Manners maketh man.”
This is one of my most favorite movies of all time. The
world of the Kingsman is pure creativity and very interesting. The agents are not
your average secret agent but more of a spoof on James Bond. They dress nice,
do their task, win the girl, and kill with style. The whole film revolves
around a man named Eggsy and how he learns to be better than what he thinks of
himself. Taron Egerton is great and so is the rest of the cast. Samuel L
Jackson has an annoying lisp but after awhile you’ll get used to it. Colin
Firth is amazing in every scene he’s in. It’s meant to be clichéd and over the top but
never takes itself too seriously. The action is jaw dropping. There’s a perfect
action sequence that takes place in a church that has “Free Bird” by
Lynyard Skynyrd in the background. Pure
Golden! The song selections stand out so
well with every scene not just to have it to impress audiences but it describes
the scenes so brilliantly. That’s how songs in movies should be. Definitely a must
see! 9.7.
